Out April/May 2026: The Dark Lord’s Army Wants You!: How I Became a Therapist in Another World Omnibus 3

The next volume in the Therapist series will include one previously released novella and two brand-new novellas, only available in this collection.

Some find their chosen family in a cozy café. Others…not so much.

The Dread Army of Dark Lord Drekar Nightshade has made its mark on the otherworld, sending chills down the spines of bandits and nobles alike. But inside the horde, their greater concerns are how to make an honest living and how to house and feed the Dark Lord’s followers. What’s a supposedly evil overlord to do?

Contains 3 novellas:

The Salty Mageknight and the Sweet Dark Lord

Dark Lord Drekar Nightshade, Sorcerer Unyielding, exploded onto the scene with a challenge. One Visitor took up the call: Sir Solan the Mageknight, dark knight of the Western Plains. Their epic showdown fell apart into shooting the breeze about tabletop gaming and swordfighting techniques.

The would-be rivalry soon grows into friendship. Solan has some difficult questions for himself, like: why does he feel so good just being around Drekar? And Drekar has some less difficult questions, like: can he manage his raging crush on the local dark knight who seemingly has no romantic interest in him?

Evil Overlord for Hire (Authenticity Not Guaranteed)

Dark Lord Drekar Nightshade’s electrifying appearance in the middle of a countess’s Midwinter ball has become the envy of noble circles, and invitations start piling up. But Drekar has other things to do with his time, and instead Zilyana, scout for the Dread Army, finds herself on a secret mission she never expected. With a team of illusion mages, amateur actors and more, she’ll have to figure out how to produce an evil overlord that can get the nobility’s hearts thumping and spines tingling. Safely. Of course.

On the Care and Feeding of an Evil Army

Aspen, assistant to the Dread Army’s quartermaster, has always been a true believer in the Dark Lord, but he doesn’t reach for glory. All he asks for is peace and quiet and time to do his job right. Getting too close to people is a recipe for heartbreak, after all.

Then Aspen’s boss assigns him to an important project: expanding the mess hall to support the Army’s growing town. Aspen won’t work on this alone; a mysterious figure from his past is cooking up his own ideas. Will one vision rise to the top, or can they blend together into something the Dread Army has never seen?
