2025 isn’t over yet, but the roadmap is outdated enough to start fresh.

The Basics: Releases
- The rest of 2025 is dedicated to the first draft of Therapist 10 (On the Care and Feeding of an Evil Army).
- After that, editing, rewrites, and eventually beta reading for novellas 9 and 10.
- After that is the release of Therapist omnibus 3, which will include novellas 7, 9 and 10; two of these will be all-new material. This will mark the start of the omnibus-only releases for this series, as I don’t plan to release 9 and 10 individually.
- Goal date for Omnibus 3: end of May 2026. This is ambitious, but not impossible.
- I also plan to release a fourth extra story for the newsletter alongside Omnibus 3, not actually titled “Date Night in Little Earth” (probably).
- After that, if all goes well, I hope to outline a direct follow-up to Strangers — this should start in the background of all this other stuff above.
- 2027 is a much more realistic date for that project being done, but we’ll see how it goes.
- Meanwhile, between drafts/alongside Strangers II (not its name), I hope to plan out Therapist 11, 12 and 13. At least some of these should be first-drafted within 2026.
Other Goals
- More beta reading (2025: 1, oops).
- More promo swaps or newsletter swaps on the newsletter (2025: 3).
- At least one map for any series, even if I give up on DIYing and commission one.
- Speaking of which, commission some more art, whether or not it’s for a cover (maps or character art)
- Sale participation: I entered 9 sales or bundles in 2025, and that feels like a good number to maintain. Spread out through more of the year, if possible; some of the ones in 2025 were clustered up.
- Potentially table at a book event, which I’ve never done. More as a learning experience than a sales bonanza.
All of this boils down to one basic idea: Keep going. 🙂
